Atari Box is coming!

Short on details, but interested.
Hope the "contemporary" games and game play is good, because I'm pretty sure I can get all the Atari classics
for $19.99 for either PS4 or XBOne right now...

I don't own any consoles, some something simple like this is sexy to me. About 15 years ago I almost bought one of those all-in-one Atari-like joystick gaming things that has a simple RCA audio and composite video output so I could play the games I grew up with in the early 1980s.

Understood, but they'll have a hard time breaking into the contemporary market if they price it anywhere near as much as the other systems (a new PS4 can be had for $250 and a used one for around $200 I think), and then the Atari Classic games can be had for < $20. So, if the new system is cheap...I think they'll do OK. If it's expensive, I think they'll have troubles staying afloat.

The Atari-classic all-in-one was $40 I think...it was fun to use the old joystick (pause) for a little while...but playing the old games using a more ergonomic controller was a better experience.
