This is a blow to me because so far it hasn't been my generation of musicians who have been dying. He was an amazing talent who led several bands to the top and created genres we still enjoy today. And all of it, 100% of the fans, loved his work for the music alone, not for fashion, videos, fame, or other nonsense which tends to make and break stars.

Agreed, he was an amazing talent. A loss to the music community. As a father, my thoughts often drift to the families of the deceased. It looks like he had 3 kids as well. I will say a prayer for them.

Oh my.... I have read several stories stating that the police are investigating the possibility of his death being a suicide. Hmmm....

Apparently the coroner is now ruling his death as suicide by hanging!! Very sad. As Andy alluded to, my heart aches for his children!!

The surviving family is challenging the police ruling that Chris committed suicide.
