Happened to see that a remastered version of the game was recently released (from 2006!).
I have to say...that is the game I played the absolute most online. I lost my job in early 2007
and for 4 months...my wife would go to work and...I'd be head stomping COGs and Chainsawing the Locust Horde...
after an hour of submitting resumes!
Anyway...its available across platofrms (PC, XBOX, PS5). I went with PS5 because XBOX still requires you to pay extra to play online (which is just ridiculous).
I found this out because I purchased for XBOX first and couldn't play online. They allowed a refund and I dl'd for PS5 posthaste.
I don't have any interest in the Story Mode. Just multiplayer. At the moment...loving it.
It's pretty funny, seeing the same maps almost 20 years later...and realizing "I think I used to like this map", but having zero idea where any of the extra weapons
are or any strategy. And...I'm nowhere near as good as I used to be. But it is loads of blood soaked, head shotting, chainsawing fun.
