Hanna (TV) vs. Hanna (movie)

I just started watching Hanna season one on Amazon. I already like it better then the movie. The multi episode series format seems like it immediately lends itself towards better character development and a more in depth telling of the (albeit same) story. I didn't hate the movie but it was somewhat heavily (maybe overdone) stylized and thin on development. Anyone else watch both?

I thought the movie was okay also. I’ve been interested in checking out the series but haven’t had an opportunity

I really enjoyed the series. A little slow at times, but when the action kicked in - it was very well done.

I think that's what I like about it and what I have come to like about well executed series vs shorter format movies. There is often more opportunity for character and story development. This distinction isn't always relevant because of course there are plenty of movies with excellent character and story development. But at least in this case side by side I think I prefer the longer format. Almost done with season two. And agreed 200% the action is a little spread out but when it happens it's great.

Looks like something I would enjoy, and I have Prime, I'll check it out.
