Kinect

Wife and kids bought me the Kinect controller and the Star Wars Kinect game for Father's day. I didn't open it, because I'm not sure I want it. Reviews on the Star Wars game are less than stellar, and I'm not sure what else is out there.

My question is for those that have it, is it fun once you get past the initial wow factor? What games would you recommend? Not sure if I want to get a workout playing a video game, although my waistline could use a little thinning!

I haven't played a game on it since the first couple days after I purchased it. The kids are completely disinterested...the amount of titles launched since its intro has been underwhelming at best also...

Ditto

Kinect games are only fun the first time you play them. The Kinect itself will, IMHO, evolve to be voice/motion activated controller for non-gaming apps for future versions of the Xbox and HTPC like peripherals.

This is exactly how my kids feel about it also. It set behind my TV and once a month i dust it off.
