"In total, she has released over 30 studio albums and 15 compilation or greatest hits albums. Ronstadt charted 38 Billboard Hot 100 singles, with 21 reaching the top 40, 10 in the top 10, three at number 2, and “You’re No Good” at number 1. This success did not translate to the UK, with only her single “Blue Bayou” reaching the UK Top 40.[18] Her duet with Aaron Neville, “Don’t Know Much“, peaked at number 2 in December 1989.[19] In addition, she has charted 36 albums, 10 top-10 albums and three number 1 albums on the Billboard Pop Album Chart. Her autobiography, Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir,[20] was published in September 2013. It debuted in the Top 10 on The New York Times Best Seller list.

I used to have a poster of her in my room, really loved her voice and her looks. Really like the trailer, hope the movie be as good.

We played the crap out of this when it came out............

Going to have to listen to it on the system..........

While I deeply respect her sheer talent and the effort she put into making music, I never liked the music she created - at least the stuff I am familiar with (mostly all the hits).

My one and only Linda Ronstadt Album. 1980. Thought she was smoking back in the day. Used to argue with a buddy over who's version of "Girls Talk" was better. I realize now that Elvis Costello's WAS better. Looked it up..she didn't write a single song on this album!!

She definitely a looker. Never really cared for her music as well, although I didn't hate it. I also never realized she was so successful. Didn't she date or maybe even live with George Lucas for awhile?

My mother actually babysat for Linda when my mom was a teenager growing up in Tucson. About twenty years ago my mom was attending a gala of some kind and Linda was there sitting in the background and my mom approached her and Linda saw my mom and just ran up to her and hugged her. She remembered my mom after all those years.
