Think about that! Netflix which merely streams content, most of which isn't their own, is valued higher by investors than Disney which owns more than a dozen TV channels, radio channels, touring groups, produces Broadway class plays around the world, has the biggest grossing movie studio, and runs tourist destinations like their parks and cruise lines.

Thinking...

Perhaps investors have heard that Netflix does not "merely streams content, most of which isn't their own" and is looking to hit 50% original and that they are on par with the other giant players in that department. I'm no fanboy of Netflix, but it seems to me that their subscriber-based system, which, overall, is less susceptible to "ratings" per individual movie or show to maintain it (and grow), makes for, at least right now, a potentially good investment.

But then again maybe investors do have it all wrong; wouldn't be the first time.
