New Shows for the 2017 Fall Season

Thought I'd see if anyone thought any of the new slate of TV shows was worth watching this year.

I've only got two that I have put on my recording list so far:
  • Orville -- It's not perfect, but I like it so far. I hope it doesn't keep being as preachy though.
  • The Gifted -- Still a sucker for comic book shows... and so much better than The Inhumans
Other than that, meh...

Qualifier, I'd probably add the new Star Trek if it were on regular TV, but it's not, so I'm not.
 
The only one we're watching that's new this fall is The Orville, and I'm with you on it. We're a couple weeks behind, but if they can't lighten up a bit on the themes I'm probably going to drop off. I know sci fi usually deals with real issues, but it's not usually an every show thing. Sometimes it's just a matter of wanting to see spaceships exploding.
