Roger Moore has passed away at 89 years old

RIP Roger.

Roger Moore is the guy I initially think of when I think of James Bond. I guess the first several Bond movies I saw were starring Roger Moore, didn't see the Connery stuff until a little later, so I always think of Roger Moore as my Bond V 1.0.

RIP Roger. Not sure I ever saw him in any other role besides James Bond. Gonna have to change that...

RIP Roger.

My first Bond movie was The Man With The Golden Gun. I was blown away as a young teenager. Like Randy said...........He is the actor I think of when you say: Bond, James Bond.

I always thought of him as the 'lighthearted' Bond. He was not as serious as Daniel Craig nor as polished as Sean Connery. He was the Bond that would fit in a Cannonball Run movie!

Great analogy. I think Pierce fit the light hearted model too. Connery and Craig are definitely more the Brooding Bond type.

My personal ranking of favorite Bonds is: Connery, Lazenby, Craig, Moore, Dalton. Moore's early Bond movies are among my favorites, but his last few were awful.
