Samsung acquires Harman

I just read a brief on this in Voice Coil and they said 65% of Harman's revenue is from their automobile business. They are also under significant pressure from Silicon Valley with companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and others bringing their AI and UI expertise to the auto entertainment market.

yeah... they bought AMX LLC and TowerSec, both of whom are very automotive focused.

To what end? What are Apple, Google, Microsoft wanting to develop or bring to the auto entertainment market? I find that to be very fascinating, before long we will have DirecTV antennas on all autos combined with GPS's we will truly have "Cruise Control", set it, lay down in the back seat and wait to arrive, while watching an NFL game live.

Works for me.
