Talking birds in TV ads?

Flint

Prodigal Son
Superstar
I almost never watch broadcast television, but today I am in my hotel room researching and preparing for my panel discussions this week while watching NFL football in the background. At one point I saw a amazingly realistic animated bald eagle speaking on a commercial for something (I forget) followed by another advertisement with two realistic owls speaking to the camera followed by another ad with a realistic owl walking on a treadmill selling hotel booking services followed by another advertisement with a crow or raven talking to the camera. What the hell!?!?!?

Google must have figured out you have a secret bird fetish, and arranged that programming for you.

Easier to animate talking critters when there's no lips.

But yeah, there's a lot of talking bird ads out there.
