As always, I'm a little bit (well maybe a lot) behind. I'm just finishing season 1 of the HBO series Treme, about post-Katrina New Orleans. By one of the creators of The Wire. So far, it's a great show (also available for free on amazon prime). Good acting, great music. I don't really know how authentic a portrayal of New Orleans culture this really is, but I'm inclined to think it's reasonably accurate. Anyway, good stuff, highly recommended.
