I heard this speaker much too briefly at last years AXPONA, so really glad they are bringing it back so I can have another listen. What I heard sounded very good but the music playing didn't push the speakers dynamics or limit's. Ummm, it was actually Dean Martin, I heard Pink Floyd was used earlier but I missed it.
Given the speakers dimensions, cost, weight, and subsequent the proper room to house them, this is truly a Super Speaker. Sound wise might be a different story, but I would take this over Wilson's Master Chronosonic as the Wilson brand has never impressed me.
I really hope but doubt it will change, is the positioning in the room. They placed it along the long wall for some reason, so three rows of seats. With the back row against a wall, Sad!
This speaker I believe was originally for a customer in the Philippines, who will place it in a purposely built building next to his house. Think pole barn, with special electrical wiring, heating and A/C, and acoustic room treatments, ie: the whole nine yards.
His previous VSA speakers are also mega towers but do not have as many bells and whistles, and svelte looking cabinet like this one does.
