    Sub Woofer question

There are multiple ways to go about this, prior to me having a mic and REW. I used this method: Take a SPL Meter, if you don't have one, down load an app on your phone. Sit in your MLP and play frequencies starting at 20 Hz in 5 Hz increments up to 150 Hz; and write down the SPL for those...

    Sub Woofer question

Your room is not lacking bass, Your main listening position is. It is in a null. Add another sealed sub and use the typical placement process for them to get the MLP out of the null.

    Heeman AL Home Theater

I would say "balanced", not livelier. The new 18" subs are in the front corners. The XS-30'S are behind the seats, which has been their location always in this HT. During Flints visit, he commented that the room is well balanced and not too dead. This is different than the WI HT, which was...

I just added (2) PSA S18NEO Subs. I use my subs for LFE only. I was able to get the 10 year old PSA XS-30'S to blend nicely with the new sealed 18's. I will be building my MTM Center Speaker as soon as the heat breaks down here. The Purifi Drives are on backorder.
