Poker Table!...not really audio related...but it was a fun DIY project that I'm proud of

I assume post-covid costs have made it worse. But my normal assumption is that if you have the know-how and the tools, you'll make it better than the stuff that is cheaper to buy. I was going to use the plans from this if my free table legs didn't work out: Bear Mountain Builds Dining Table...

Poker Table!...not really audio related...but it was a fun DIY project that I'm proud of

The general standard is Gorilla Gaming folding metal legs which are $250 Or some people build some quality legs themselves. I had some free downloaded plans which I found after I got the dining table. If the dining table legs were wobbly, I would have went with the plans...but honestly, they...

Playing surface is a custom printed cloth dye sublation (sp?). It is the same cloth used on a lot of casino tables. Found someone in Canada that does it for a good price. The table rail is Tuxsuede (I think that's what its called)

    Bigger is better???

Cool. Let me make sure all entry ways to my "home theatre" are at least 9', not to mention stairways to the basement of the house that I have to build after I put the 100" sub in. Similar to the Federal Reserve vault, this would be put in first and then everything built around it. Who in the...

Front L/R Makie HR824 + SVS Sub...what can I add to get me back to a 5.1 system

Mine were toppled by teenagers playing kill the carrier in a tiled basement. Vertical/horizontal and low center of gravity wouldn't have helped. :veryangry::veryangry:

Front L/R Makie HR824 + SVS Sub...what can I add to get me back to a 5.1 system

So...I had 4 HR824's and I bought a 5 HR824 to get myself to a 5.1 a year or two ago, but my son blew out the fronts. I moved the Rears to the Front L/R and my younger son somewhat recently knocked over the Center and that no longer functions. I'm sure I can find some beat up HR824's, but am...

What are you watching via streaming?

Animal Kingdom (new-ish to Netflix). 6 seasons, we're a few episodes in to season 5. Really like this show. Criminal family of 4 brothers and 1 grandson run by the Mom (Ellen Barkin). I think it was on FX originally.
