Hisense 100+ inch TV's

So I happen to see a 100" Hisense QLED at Costco for $1649, which I think is insane that we live in a day and age when that it is possible for the average joe to afford a set like that.
PQ was decent in store but I've yet to see one in a real world environment. I personally have zero need for a set larger than 75", my old LG C series 65" OLED still impresses me on the daily.

Curiosity gets the better of me and I find this video of a $20k Hisense 110" set that seems to have amazing quality (as it should).

Pretty good watch if you you have the time here:

Probably my annual posting.... lol

By the time I get around to building a dedicated theater, projectors will be completely unnecessary. For now, I'm happy with my 75.

While TVs have become incredibly affordable, I disagree, with so many flicks formatted in cinescope, it’s near criminal to give up a third of the screen real estate in a large % of dedicated rooms. Cinescope should exceed the 16:9 format in size, not sacrifice a third of the screen for black stripes.

And with an AT screen, you can have optimal center channel location, plus there isn't a huge piece of glass between the main speakers.

A lot of it comes down to whether you have a big enough room to take advantage of those things. I may or may not.
