I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
I really like Sicario and the sequel and second what Monkey says. It's better than it should be.
Much of the cast have been pushing for a third installment but it's looking less and less likely, which is too bad.
I have a few seasons of TV on DVD to keep in the RV in the event of a rainout and/or we can’t get internet to stream. We like to have the TV on to fall asleep to.
I’m with Huey.
That said if you’re in love with the TV and/or don‘t want to buy a new one for whatever reason … I’d imagine that a diagnostic fee at a reputable electronics repair shop would be around $100 and they’d provide a cost estimate. If the cost to repair is more than 25% of a similar...
I should have been clear that I'm not unhappy with the PQ or SQ but it does, quite understandably, not equal disc based media. And I'd rather see that gap close more before they add what I think are gee-whiz features that don't, IMHO, improve the experience.
Very accurate
If there were a justifiable business case for broadcasters to spend what it takes to more regularly broadcast 4K sporting events they 100% would. The fact that they aren't should speak for itself with regard to the cost of the investments required.
That's not entirely accurate. While the principle is the same the amount of data that has to be passed from camera to truck and from truck to HQ is orders of magnitude higher and the precision demands on the network (timing accuracy and latency) are also much more demanding than they were for...

"For the 2022 season TNF will be delivered in 1080p with standard dynamic range (SDR), due to some upgrades on the playback and distribution side that still need to be made. The plan is to offer 1080p HDR for...
Seems to me that the best of the DC based movies are their own stories and don’t try to connect to a larger DCU string of movies. They could all be “elseworlds“ going forward in my opinion.
Sweet
It's awesome when purchases exceed expectations
I'm jealous as I've been wanting to upsize the 70" living room TV but, besides being broke, it'd be an ordeal WRT to mounting.
Finally got around to watching the 2019 reboot of Hellboy.
Maybe it was because I went in with really low expectations but I kind of dug it. It was never going to be a huge blockbuster but I guess I don't understand why it was such a flop.
