In the end, the presence or lack of any type of effects aren’t going to make up for a shitty story, crappy acting or poor direction.

I really like AppleTV+, they have a lot more content now and some of the launch titles are damn good, like The Morning Show…Nd like CMonster we love Ted Lasso as well

Saw an early screening of Shang-Chi and The 10 Rings…..I’ll just say it may just be my favorite Marvel movie. It was THAT good.

We saw The Suicide Squad last Thursday evening. I liked it. It was much better than the theatrical release of the 2016 movie. I still think had the studio not meddled with the ‘16 movie, the potential was there to be better than this new one. Oh well. IDK what the formula is for these team-up...

I’m ready to auction ALL my DVDs and BDs on eBay in one large lot and get what I can get, when I can find the time. I still buy the occasional 4K disc of movies that the kids and I love but not at nearly the clip I used to. Almost all 4K purchases comes with a 4K digital copy so I drop that code...

I love Chris Nolan as much as anyone but after my theater experience watching Tenet, I‘m in no hurry to watch it again. I don’t know if he feels he owes something to his composers, but he sacrifices a lot of clarity/dialogue for the sake of the score. Some of his collaborations are amazing...

In preparation for the new episodes coming, the GF and I have been watching Dexter. Catherine’s first time watching while I watched the entire series years ago. It still holds up and is one of my favorite series that’s not a sitcom.

If you’re a fan of comic book movies, the genre owes a lot to Richard Donner since he gave us Superman: The Movie….He also gave us the Goonies and Lethal Weapon amongst other movies and contributions to various TV series. Richard Donner Passes Away

Of course me and my kids will see it, but even if I weren’t a fan of the comic book genre I’d see anything with Margo Robbie at least once!

GF and I started last night at 10pm and finished around 5am, woke up at 9 to goto work.....highly recommended. Good night,
