This is the list of Best-selling, not necessarily "Best" albums. And it's US sales only. DSOTM is believed to be the best selling album of all time but a lot of the sales were made before 1990 when RIAA started keeping track of record sales. That's why i think it's missing from the list.
I got the two Zeppelins, AC/DC, Metallica, Boston, and G'n'R.
Very surprised to see Billy Joel in the list and The Eagles Best Of numbers are crazy. :scared-eek:
It was even worse in my old country. Most things were rationed. We could only get 1 kg (2 lbs) of meat every two weeks. Now imagine how much meat you ate in two weeks in a family of six.
The Fire TV stick is a full size device. In fact it's more powerful than a Roku. But if your friend uses an iPad, then the Apple TV is a good solution if he doesn't mind spending $100 on a device just watch youtube videos on his TV.
My thought on these speakers.
Build quality is just ok. About what you expect from $200 speakers. One complain is the grilles. They are difficult to take off and it feels like they will break when you are trying to take them off.
Looks wise, yes they are just black boxes with sharp edges but I...
The new pair of speakers was delivered today. Now I have 5 identical speakers which I have never had before so I am happy about that.
I will post my thoughts on these speakers tomorrow.
*update*
Because the Fire TV doesn't do HD audio, I bought a Zotac Zbox MI320 mini PC. It came with Win 8.1, 64GB SSD and 2GB RAM. Good deal at $160 for a complete box with Windows and SSD. I had an extra 2GB stick laying around so I put it in and doubled the memory.
Now I have HD audio...
*February 1st update*
Returned the cheap pos RCA TV and replaced it with a much nicer 60" Panasonic Viera. Also I didn't want to spend any money on a component rack, so I just removed the two side shelves of the Ikea bookshelf-turned-TV stand, and put the receiver and the xfinity box in there...
The only reason I use the network feature of the receiver is because I want to listen to my music from the NAS while playing xbox or watching sports.
Only way to do that is if you have to use an analog input or the network to be able to watch a HDMI video source like xbox or cable TV.
I have ripped all my CDs, DVDs, and BR discs to 3 NASes and a couple of external HDDs.
I no longer have any discs. I sold my entire music collection (900 CDs) to one person, and sold all the blurays and DVDs on eBay.
