Yeah the scene with the "space vespa" chase was kinda painful, effects-wise.

Yeah I've been watching, I like it so far. Ok they had to work kinda hard to make Boba Fett into a good guy via character transformation, but I liked the evolution of Tuskans into an actual culture and not just weird desert madmen.

So I'm watching Wheel of Time... kinda mixed feelings. I've read all the books (a MAJOR commitment), so I can follow what's going on, though I've forgotten some of the characters/details, there are just so many. But I don't really see how someone who hasn't read these would get much out of it...

Ha, don't feel bad, I didn't know that either. (Though I've only had an iphone for ~8 mo)

So I started watching Don't Look Up (new movie with DiCaprio et. al. on Netflix) . While it's funny, it's also maddening as hell in its total plausibility, and was actively making me angry. So I decided to turn back to something more light and airy and stress free: The Witcher. :rolleyes:

Witcher season 2 is out. I'm only a couple episodes in, but so far so good!

Yup. Just finished the first season, and I hear they're now filming season 2 which is great. I'm a huge fan of the old movie Three Amigos, so seeing Martin and Short in this really takes me back.

Really enjoyed this one. Good cast, good story+action, and GREAT cinematography. Kind of a mix of Silverado and Django Unchained. Highly recommended! Also, filmed around where I grew up (northern New Mexico). Beautiful scenery.

But I'm still enjoying following this thread!
