I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
Ok, so it wasn't today. It was last Friday night. My daughter was at a K-pop concert and I had some time to kill.
So i watched Devotion. Good Flick. I enjoyed!!
Not sure how I came across this one.
Eddie Vedder and his side project The Earthlings covering The Cure. I love The Cure. I think I may have a man crush on Eddie Vedder? That's Chad Smith from RHCP on drums and Janes's Addiction bassist, Chris Chaney! Sound seems a bit muddy to me?!
I loved it. Not sure what you mean by liberties? Obviously it was an alternate ending to the real thing. I thought the scene at the end with Brad Pitt's Cliff Booth and the attackers was classic Tarantino over the top violence.
It's called oil painting animation. It's not done by computer...well sort of. The artist did over 1300 oil sketches than I assume it is stitched together via computer. Beautiful. Of course it's the Beatles so that makes it even better!! The artist is Em Cooper.
I'm actually watching the final season of the Walking Dead. Can't remember if it started on Netflix , then switched to Prime. Now AMC+(through Prime) which I am getting free for a month just to watch season 11.
Streaming 100%. Sadly the HT gets used very little. I mostly watch sports on the PJ. As Towen said, there is something to be said for watching sports/movie on a big ass screen. Again, like Towen I have a 1080P projector that is now somewhere in the area of 12 or probably actually 14 years old...
Well there is one thing upon further review to think about. Some/most of these UST projectors use a single DLP. I used to occasionally get the colour wheel effect with my old Infocus DLP PJ.
Not sure if technology has changed around DLP. I would have to see one in person. Certainly not buying...
Good memories.
The one I had NEVER heard of was Never Been Any Reason by Head East. Rick said something to the effect about it was big around the Great Lakes. I was in the middle of the Great Lakes (albeit in another country) and I have never heard this song!!
PS: I Can See Clearly Now is a...
Laser lifetime is definitely a selling point. The funky screen design that theoretically takes light from the projector below but rejects light from other angles intrigues me. That is the drawback to my current system , I need a very dark room to get my best image.
This has me seriously...
Is this legit? The screen and projector are roughly the same or less than I am looking at for a new Sony 4k PJ!! I like how it says on the side "Sound by Bowers and Wilkins"!!
