I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
Picked up a new component stand and when moving the Cornwalls I noticed my somewhat pricey speaker wires were oxidized and turned green.
So I’m going to change them out, any of you have recommendations for good wire?
If memory serves I paid around $100 for what I have now, and honestly IMO at...
Happened to me a few years ago and my entire theater got fried. My own stupid fault as I had everything running through a monster surge protector EXCEPT I got lazy when we installed the roof antenna and I ran that straight through instead of adding one more cable.

I still use Spotify, had Tidal but it wasn’t worth the price for me because my main music is 80’s and 90’s thrash/death metal and I would say at least 80% of what I listen to wasn’t in lossless.
If Spotify gets their hifi tier going and it includes my personal library I’ll be a happy camper.
Picked up The Batman yesterday, this is really the first Batman film I did not see in the theater due to Covid. Also the reviews from my comic reading buddies weren’t all that great so I was in no hurry.
Will hopefully get to it tonight.
Yes! When I was a kid our local library had movies on Halloween so my pops would take me after trick or treating. We saw The Thing from Another World, War of the Worlds and pretty much all of the universal monsters films there.
They just don’t do stuff like that anymore.
I got on SlingTv as what they called an early trials program, we’ve had it for years and Ive never been billed. We mainly use our antenna and also have Hulu/Netflix/Discovery.
Satellite tv and cable are the biggest ripoffs imo.
Fathom does some great events, I got to see Dr. Who The Five Doctors on the big screen a couple years before the pandemic because of them as well as the original King Kong and Godzilla. Great stuff.
The Thing is in my opinion one of the best horror films of all time and if you haven’t seen it...
It looks so bad.
They had a great formula for people that like the kiddie marvel universe but now they seem to be drawing straws for the next big thing and it just is t working.
