I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
It made me think back to when you could do "high speed dubbing" on double cassette decks from the Eighties. Cassette to cassette copies were almost always bad. For a variety of reasons I already suspect. But now I can add the negative effects of high speed copying to the list, assuming much...
I only remember cassettes and CDs being offered through record clubs, Think I've seen 8-TRacks. And vinyl, of course. But Never wouldve guessed they did R2R. Guess that maybe shows how much more seriously a larger portion of the population took audio quality back then that a record club was...
Re: Lest we forget, The Darknoss f#^*~ng ROCKS! ;-D
As an 80s kid, I hated 70-era Chicago when I first heard it. It was a far cry from the Peter Cetera dominated soft rock that I was familiar with. And whilst I still like the stuff from Chicago 17, I definitely prefer the 70s stuff better...
I've not really watched the show, but the one guy always reminds me of Doc from Back To the Future. Doesn't help (hurt?) that Morty sounds a little like Marty, too.

The Darkness are a band that I remembered as the one hit wonder that they are, but after years of not giving a crap about them I'm really digging their stuff. Some of its a little oddball. But I like it.
In fact, I just ordered a CD by a band called Hot Leg, which...

I liked it.
And thanks to this thread I had googled "bear" in advanced, otherwise that fozzy joke would've gone way over my head,
Oh... And was Fozzy's girlfriend the same actress who played the masseuse in the TV show that followed the muppets, fresh off the boat?
My guess is that muppets...
The Darkness.
With Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull.
So deep a cut the track didn't even make the album. It's merely a bonus track. And I only found it as an MP3, but maybe it's on a CD somewhere. The flute doesn't come in until just after the 2:00 minute mark. But the whole song is excellent...
Sammy Hagar. The solo album he did right after joining van halen. Wonder was this a contractual obligation. Not that it's bad, but I think Eddie plays on it? Maybe. It's nice mid-Eightites rock. You don't hear the synth keyboards nowadays like you did back then,
Indeed. Perhaps you're thinking of "Say, Say, Say". The song that was inspired because Michael thought the zebra was talking to him. Milk is a powerful drug.
