Flint, just curious what should be the depth of a ORD diffusor in a room that is 5' behind the speaker and and about 14' from the listener? I know the original QRD's from RPG were 9" deep.
So just checking, sealed bass or bass reflex on the woofers? Open baffle on the midranges and tweeter? I like the tweeter wave guide, excellent looking job my friend.
So what is the name for this set of fine looking speakers, Sofia, as in Sofia Vergara?

Maybe Santa will give me these as a stocking stuffer this year.
Auralex, makes a lightweight plastic 3D diffusor called a T-Fusor. Some some guy named Flint sold them to me, just repainted them black the other day.
Flint, what do you think about these diffractal diffusors vs QRD's. As in less absorption vs ORD's and being more effective in the high...

I remember the SAE brand and various pics of their electronics from the magazine's back in the day. Always liked their looks especially the sequential lights, but was not familiar about the company itself.

First off you don't but, I thought it made for a nice thread title. It does have a lot hi-tech going on underneath the hood.
The Z1 is kitted-out with 256 GB of internal hard drive storage and two micro-SD...

I want to see Flint build a Horn based system, followed up by an Electrostatic speaker one day. That would be really cool, just like this Limited Fund LineSource/sealed bass system is.
http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/dynaudio-reaches-new-heights-with-completely-redesigned-confidence-high-end-speaker-range/ I also notice they dropped the double tweeter for the top model in this line.
Not exactly a high rez pic, but you get the idea.
I have already tried this device, with different pop bottles in a blind ABX test and by far Cherry Dr. Pepper gave the best overall results. Mountain Dew's bass was uneven and boomy, and Diet Pepsi sounded artificial, with a slight bitter after taste to boot.

Thought I would post this for anyone looking to downsize, or setup a secondary system. I thought the addition of a .1 channel for a subwoofer was a nice touch. It even has bass and treble tone controls, with gold accents to boot.
While I haven't read this book, I heard about while listening to Chris Hayes, show on MSNBC, All In. Thought is sounded like interesting food for thought, about our current state of the world. In the book a the author takes aim at the Mark Zuckerbergs and Elon Musks of Silicon Valley.
