Yes, it's a prequel and while there are some references to BB, it's not a critical part of the plot.

Just started this now (on Netflix). I’m a little skeptical because I’m so involved in this story and have lots of opinions on movie/tv adaptations of it before both positive and negative…. Withholding judgement for now.

Yeah, I’m watching this, and I agree Rosario Dawson is awesome in everything she does. I’m still kind of on the fence with this whole thing. There are too many improbable moments of being saved by this or that magic thing, but OK… I’m interested to see where it’s going.

The drummer is Billy Kilson, who is AMAZING. He's on one of Botti's live concert vids, which is where I first got to know him. I had a chance to see James and Kilson locally (well, almost, in DC) a while back and I've always regretted not going.

How did I not know about this? OMG this is the best role for Nick Cage that I've ever seen. And Tarantino-like violence + humor. Loved it.

I grew up in Los Alamos. I got the local "Oppenheimer scholarship" when I graduated from high school. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing this one soon.

Ok so I started watching this today on a lark (I have the day off today as a fed), but I'm really enjoying it. Kinda cool to see Arnie acting again, not that he's any sort of great actor, but for the history, you know? Anyway, fun show, and doesn't take itself too seriously.

I can't believe I've never seen this before, no idea how it fell so completely off my radar. Watched it this afternoon, enjoyed it very much.
