    Zing's New (Mismatched) Center Channel

Above 45Hz or so (where the left and right sub graphs cross), the right sub is detrimental to the output. John

    Zing's New (Mismatched) Center Channel

Apparently there is something asymmetrical in your room causing those two nulls at different frequencies. It doesn't take much of a difference either. What I find most interesting is that the null centered at 50Hz corresponds to ~11'. Are your ceilings that high? John

Yeah, that's why you aren't involved in moving IN the new subs because I knew you would be moving OUT the existing ones. John

I heard one the other day and while Jan and I returning home and we both were rolling because of how...

The computer goofed. Plain and simple. In the end it doesn't really matter but I knew that Keith was going to be listening at levels that wouldn't be achievable if he started at 66dB. John

    66dB? Is that right? 85 @ 1m; 85-6=79 @ 2m (1mx2; 6.6'); 79-6=73 @ 4m (2mx2; 13.2'). That's just quick in my head stuff but 66dB seems really low to me. I would have guessed more like 75. John
