Watched the premiere of Ms Marvel on Disney+, wow what a shitshow. Marvel is pretty consistently good, and I found it to be almost unwatchable.

Saw Morbius tonight with the family….let me just say, save your $$. What a waste and a pointless film. Just below average all around. Wish I had the $$ and those two hours back. I wouldn’t even watch it again for free when it streams and I certainly won’t be adding it to my 4K comic movie...

Finished Season 4 Pt 1 of Ozark last night. Pretty intense.

I had pretty much the same game plan when I ditched Dish years ago. while much cheaper those streaming services are slowly creeping up. And they add up too. I was an early adopter of the first iteration of DirecTV Stream and it’s probably gone up $20-25/mo since first subscribing.

It’s later today @ 7 but my new wife and I along with my kids, sister-in-law and her BF will see The Batman at an IMAX fan screening. I don’t have words for my excitement level right now.

I have voiced my theory on what the strategy was for the Boba Fett character, in short I think The Mandalorian unintentionally pulled the rug out from under him. This series essentially is one big filler episode….

^ I’m doubtful that actors are falling off trees that fit the exact description of the character in the books. I don’t want to see The Rock and John Cena (as good as they are in some material) in everything. I for one can live with Ritchson in the role.

I thought the “motorcycles” in the 3rd or 4th episodes and the chase scene later in whichever episode, was some of the worst stuff I’ve seen in live-action SW.

Ritchson isn‘t a fantastic actor but he’s definitely playing it a certain way. He actually shows more range in Titans. You can also see the character loosen up as the series progresses. I thought Cruise was pretty much himself with some fight choreography.

Well, I agree episodes 5 & 6 were stark improvements. And it basically took two The Mandalorian set up episodes to get peoples attention. The creative team DID imo manage to make Boba Fett uncool. It’s a shame, the writing and story are subpar and Temuera Morrison is not capable of being a lead...
