How's about a little "micro-tonal" music? The notes are not spaced the same as almost all music. There could be 24 or 30 note pitches per octave versus 8 in a common scale. I wonder how you make a guitar to play this stuff?

What can you expect? If the original film has a visible graininess to it, as the director might have intentionally included for effect, then remastering would accurately preserve that graininess.

That's true! This fellow is disappointed by the sound of his system. He called me over specifically to discuss improvements so he could get the sound he's heard in other systems. But, he is so set in his perceptions of how to accomplish good sound that he is blind to what is wrong.
