Hello guys. I have always wondered how this subs sound. I want to listen to them but afraid to ask the store as it costs an arm and a leg here. Sometimes 2 arms and a leg even. Has anybody here tried it? Comments?

Thanks. So it is at least a little similar in terms of use if not the design. I used 15 inch jbls before and the power was really awesome. One can feel the bass thump from one end of a basketball court to the other.
Great set up! May i ask if that box is in anyway similar to the w box used to house woofers used in mobile disco rigs? It seems to me the shape and design is similar. Reason i asked is i used to own 4 of them w boxes way back. If it is at all similar i never knew it was a great design.
I am glad that the reverse is happening here in the islands. High end as well as medium range gear shops are thriving. First time i saw tidal, mbl, b& w as well as wilsons and the likes bunched with sony , yamaha, emotiva, pioneer, onkyo, denon and marantz.
Sad but true. My grandson is always with his phone. I often invite him to watch movies from my setup but he would just stick to his phone and watch his movies there in the confines of his bedroom. New generation new whims and caprices.
I was afraid to fly too. But one advice i got stuck to my mind and saved me...he said just think about how lucky those people flying with you are with the cost of tickets so high they must be. And so since you are among the luckiest people there are, the chances of the plane crashing is next to...
I tried netflix for a month as a promo gratis. I did not like it because they don't have the new marvel movies. I cancelled but to my dismay they continued my subscription and only stopped after another month which they charged to my account. Talking about free trial. Huh!
Wow! If only we were neighbors my wife and yours could watch a lot of Korean movies in your beautiful set up. My wife loves korean movies a lot too and she watches them till the wee hours of the morning daily.
This makes me nostalgic about my mobile disco rental rig back in the nineties. I had 4 15 inch jbls housed in 4 w boxes configuration. I was bored once and set them up in my small house and they almost brought the roof crashing down. Lol!
Good for you Flint. I fell asleep 20 minutes after the intro and woke up about an hour before the end. But that is just me. I fall asleep at almost all the movies i watch even at home. It is a waste of money the way i watch movies now that i am a very old fart.
Here in our place it came and passed without much ado. I never got to see it because it was gone before i could see it. It was just on for a week and gone. Maybe due to poor attendance at the tills.
This thread brings smiles to me because i recall my mobile disco business in the 90s. I enjoyed that time so much because of the excersize of setting up heavy speaker boxes and watching people dance. But one story i recall was about my sm58s. One time, a pro singer stepped on the mic cord hard...
I used to own a mobile disco rental business way back in the nineties and i own a few hundred disco music vinyls. Pops and ticks have been my problem always. I even had them cleaned by a record store but the problem persisted. Most of them have become classics and could fetch quite a sum but...
