The project is on hold. He's very particular, knows exactly what he wants for the finished project, and knows that he's not in a place to get there right now. Instead of building it up piece-by-piece, he's basically going to ignore it until he's ready to knock it all out.

Widows is horrible; don't waste your time. Actually, just the ending is horrible (major inconsistency) and made me want to punch everyone involved in the project.
