Why can't you make a new activity, like Listen to Streaming, to power on/off the Yamaha, set it to the correct input, and handle the volume/mute? It doesn't look like the streamer comes with a remote, so no need to add it as a new device.

And with an AT screen, you can have optimal center channel location, plus there isn't a huge piece of glass between the main speakers.

Mine uses pixel-shifting to get to 4K whereas the new models have a native 4K chip. The Epson projectors all use pixel-shifting as well, and the technology is really good - it's hard to tell the difference between pixel-shifting and native 4K.
