He’ll be in town the first weekend of December. Most of the AVSers here are big JTR fans as well but one of the other HTs is all Martin Logan (with JTR subs) and another is identical JBL line array speakers all around. They do like their subs ridiculously hot.

This dude wants to shoot some videos of HTs in the KC area so I went ahead and added my name to the list. He'll be out here in early December with 6 - 8 HTs on the itinerary.

Link to the light/sound blocking room dividing curtains? I can't imagine they'd be that good at blocking sound. I would think acoustic panels are the better way to go... Pictures of the space may help as well.

Went to the theater today to see A Quiet Place, Part II. We really enjoyed it; thought it was better than the first. A couple weeks ago we went to the theater for In the Heights and that was pretty good - will definitely watch it in the HT at some point.

The main advantages of 4K UHD discs are HDR and wide color range (WCG), not pixel resolution. Regular Blu-ray players cannot play 4K discs so just get the Blu-ray set.
