Glued no fasteners.

Busy day! Stand #2 has been glued up. All parts for the midrange boxes (truncated Tee-Pee) are cut and routered. All fit up nicely. Should be gluing them up tomorrow.

Work continued yesterday and today. The first stand is glued up! Flint recommend that we turn the stands into a resonator trap. The rectangular opening is designed to trap 98Hz where I have a huge null at the MLP.

The weather today was good enough to router the rabets. . These are the dry fit for the speaker stands, which are the same dimensions as the woofer cabinets except for the depth..

As predicted, weather has not allowed outside work. I did glue up the baffles.

FLINT ALL THE WAY!! I decided to make the stands the same size as my woofer cabinets. Wait, what? The MTMs aren't sitting on top of the woofers....... Due to room acoustics,, I had to move the woofers in to remove a null in the MLP. I couldn't put the C1's on them because of interference...

That's the pool equipment hut I built to keep it out of the sun.

Lots and lots of cutting today. All the parts are cut, ready for the router! We have weather rolling in over the weekend, then bitter cold. It will be a while before the next step.

I made the poor man's track saw. Clamps, a straight edge and circular saw.

Day 1 in the books, well about 3 hours. I broke down 2.5 sheets of MDF into manageable sizes close to the finished sizes. Went quicker than I thought. Handling the .75 thick, 4x8 sheets of MDF by yourself is challenging.

I was wondering if you had attended Mwave. Have you seen Ryan's new MADVR HT? Curious what you think of the Asendos and all of his massive subs? Your living room looks fantastic! Looking forward to hearing more about your changes!

So there has been an itch to scratch after learning so much about this hobby and on our 3rd Home Theater in a decade. Retirement has been treating me very well. My current system performs extremely well mainly because of what I have been able to do with optimizing my dedicated room...

We are in the middle of Season 4 and enjoying it! Growing up in the greater NY City area, I somehow feel in tune with the vibe as strange as that may sound. All the best in 2025!

We bought the bluray box set a while ago. We have never seen it. Need to find time!

I am running this in my living room system. Highly recommended. My plan is to use it in the HT when I upgrade to 4K.
