Best Godzilla or any monster movie in decades? Probably. Drew standing ovation at IMAX theater (albiet from a room full of Godzilla geeks like me) and several actual gasps during some particular scenes. Great crowd. Best time I have had at the movies in years.

Nope I'm a little behind still moving, renovating, etc. Missed a lot of good stuff over the past couple years. Theater gear has been in storage for a while. I'm close though. Will put that on my winter watch list. Thanks for the heads up.

Vincent D looks pretty outstanding as Kingpin can't wait to see this. Great casting decision.

Me too normally... but in this case after seeing the somewhat deliberately vague trailer with equally vague threat to humanity I figure I should maybe watch the movie without knowing anything.

Trailer looks good. Have not read the book will hold off so I don't spoil the movie.

Bump: Strange impulse buy probably but I grabbed two Bluray's @ Target this weekend to watch opening night in my new house / new home theater room which is probably a couple months away from even existing, but I figured why not have some motivation to get it done. I'll likely continue streaming...

Watched the new Indiana Jones movie this weekend. Pretty ho hum predictable and a LOT of (surprisingly poor) CGI. The opening scene on the train might as well have been Polar Express IMO. Story got a little more interesting towards the end but probably not worth paying Amazon on demand price...
