What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

Star Wars. I decided to let my kids watch this last night and we will be finishing it today. I want my 4 year old to be caught up on episodes IV thru Episode VIII. Her older sister has seen IV through VII. But for the 4 year old I can't show her 7 and 8 until she's 5 in November per my wife...

    Using my AKG K240s again

These open air designs allow me to hear my surroundings so I'm not closed off and I bought them due to pricing. I don't use headphones much so I didn't see the point in spending $400 or whatever high amount for infrequent use and just for TV show watching. I had older Sennheiser cans and nice...

    Using my AKG K240s again

I bought these open air headphones many years ago when we lived in an apartment with a baby. I could watch movies using an RCA to mini to a headphone amp to these inexpensive headphones. I could listen to the movies but if the baby cried I could hear her too. Then we were blessed to get in a...

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

Bumblebee. I saw this in the theater after the reviews were very good. I hate the Transformers under Michael Bay. Complete garbage. But after seeing this one and liking it the wife gave me the green light to see with the girls. A retro 1980s movie with some definite misses with that era in...

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

I can't stand horror movies but I bought this for my wife last Valentine's Day because she liked it. It has a great soundtrack. The opening New Line Cinema with the kids singing Oranges and Lemons is creepy as hell and sets the tone of the movie. I actually like it as demo material

    Securing speakers to wall mounts

Okay here's the setup. I took the picture and then freaked out thinking the bottom of my speakers were scraped up. Then I realized it was a reflection of the 10 AWG wire on my floor awaiting install. As you can see the front predrilled holes are in front of the base plate

    Securing speakers to wall mounts

Problem is the predrilled holes and footprint are too big. The front holes go out a bit from the base. The back is the only one that works. But again the clamping is the majority of hold
