I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
And we have a winner! So I learned the hard way that the basement door is the smallest doorway on the house and guess what door I tried to get it through...had to take it out the box to get it in the basement.
Pics will come once I get everything settled in.
You already knew this was going to be a hopeless endeavor. That's a great price and the C5 is supposed to be much brighter than the C4. I am loving my C4 so you know the only way to avoid regrets!
So did you guys really have a positive view of Legacy? It was visually stunning and all but I thought it was a very unimaginative plot and the whole thing just plodded along.
Yeah, I was also worried about dew and condensation moisture collecting inside the chassis, didn't even think about bugs. I'm sure he wants to view sports etc. out on the patio so the TV will be the source but I knew the TV wouldn't run the speakers. Sounds like a small 2 channel amp would do...

I have what I think is a perfect application for this which would make things easy for me but this will only be an option if it is actually effective...
@Flint did you ever gain any insight into this? I ask because I pulled some equipment off my rack that had been sitting there (unmoved) for years and it had sorbothane isolation feet under it and they were stuck to the rack and really mushy when I tried to pull them up. They were not 'runny'...
Very impressive curve! What was the difference before you added that massive diffusor/absorber. Did it make the room "livelier" or more balanced with the amount of absorption you have?
And are the subs in the front and behind the rear seating?
And what I mean by that is receivers and preamps are becoming 'nerd-gasmic' again. I used to love the old early HT receivers that had tons of inputs, triggers, jacks, and various other connection ports. Then HDMI came out and many of the legacy analog inputs vanished. The backs of AV...
Your results are about what I would have assumed although I thought the surround backs would be more 'active' to compensate for the absence of rear height channels.
So then here is the 54-dollar question, if you had a 7.1 and could only add front height channels (no back height channels) would...
