I don't know. it really makes the TV just look like a little computer monitor when you do that. You need a much bigger TV!!!

So this is the area I was considering. It seems like a really easy way to acoustically treat this alcove behind the TV.

Anyone have any opinion or experience with using acoustically absorbent blankets? Think like moving blankets and the such. Something like this I have what I think is a perfect application for this which would make things easy for me but this will only be an option if it is actually effective...

@Flint did you ever gain any insight into this? I ask because I pulled some equipment off my rack that had been sitting there (unmoved) for years and it had sorbothane isolation feet under it and they were stuck to the rack and really mushy when I tried to pull them up. They were not 'runny'...

Very impressive curve! What was the difference before you added that massive diffusor/absorber. Did it make the room "livelier" or more balanced with the amount of absorption you have? And are the subs in the front and behind the rear seating?
