Ok last week I watched the remake of The Thing and thought it was a decent retelling of the story, but not needed.
I wonder what to think of this? Sam Rami is involved, but no Bruce Campell.... hmmmm

Best part of having a larger HDD is being able to rip the games to the drive.
You still have to put the disc in to play the game, but load times are 2x as fast and you don't have to hear the disc spinning constantly.
I would bet if you do buy a 360 you start buying your multi-platform games...
I have tons of movies on BD and I would say about half of them will resume where I leave off and the other half start over from the beginning.
I have Sony BDP-S580

I'm surprised that the player is so frikkin huge yet has a small screen and is shaped like a doorstop.
Apparently this player is targeted at old un-hip people who have eyesight issues (you see the size of the buttons???).
If it won't fit in a pocket, it won't sell.
Good idea I guess, not...
Saw this at the theater last night with the wife.
We both thought it was awesome.
Great story, well acted (with a couple of stiff acting moments by secondary characters), and well filmed.
It starts out with POV film style that thankfully comes and goes throughout the film just enough to not...
All of the newer Samsung sets have a firmware update available that allows you to change the picture settings to remove the soap opera effect.
I have a 2011 Samsung UNC558000 and, after calibration, the PQ is so close to plasma it's scary.

Yeah, you think you own your property or home?
Try not paying your property taxes and see how long you will own it.
We don't ever truly own our homes, we just lease them from banks and the government.
