2012 MTV Video Awards: Christian Bale gets emotional

I guess that'd be me then :happy-smileygiantred: Thanks!! I watched live last night since I was put on notice from another site that MTV would have exclusive footage....I was touched by Bale's obvious emotion in the moment. Bale's emotion took me back to the time we learned of Ledgers death and I remembered how utterly shocked I was. As someone who has followed every detail of the production of these films I was really broken up about Ledger's passing. Honestly the experience I've had over the past 7-8 years following this trilogy has been surprisingly emotional for me. As an enormous Batman fan I feel extremely privileged, gifted and proud of what this collective team, cast & crew et al has given to us (fans) and movie enthusiasts. I admire how this team GETS and respects this character I so deeply love. It's certainly bittersweet for me as time winds down towards the premier of this film....I'm just grateful I'll be able to enjoy this trilogy forever thanks to blu-ray and whatever other medium comes along in the future.

Chris I'm just honored I'll get to see the final Bale Batman with a true fan and great friends. A memory for the ages. I still recall seeing Ironman 2 with Razz and Jeff and how awestruck they were with the movie and the Cine Capri theater we saw if in.
