We went out to the Xtreme 14 to see the imax 3d version only to find that the lights in the theater were stuck on.

We were not told the lights were stuck on and after the first 5 minutes I went out and complained. They came in and started to explain to the audience that the lights are stuck and that we can opt for the smaller theater in 2d.

We were told that the people running the theater were told to advise people before taking the ticket and because this did not happen we were given a refund on the price difference and tickets to another show for a later date.

As far as the movie goes I enjoyed the story line and the acting, Kept me entertained.
The graphic scenes were ok and semi tasteful.

Graphics during the battle scenes with the ships from a distance were not as good.
The horse racing across the ships was ok but I have not seen many horses that like to run in fires.

I thought the first one was just OK but the rights were fun, so I figured this one would be a rental for me.

We had a similar theater experience during Man of Steel, but like you, we got free passes to come back another day only we snuck into the 2d viewing and watched it anyways.
