8K TVs arriving this year, who's gonna be 1st

I am really looking forward to the day when the entire country is blanketed in cheap, fast 5G and its descendants. I love the idea of building a house wherever I want to put it without the need for any kind of wired grid connectivity.

Yeah, that would get me to move out into the country rather quickly. Not that I don't like suburban living, but the ability to move out a bit and have some room would be lovely.

It isn't entirely an issue of how far away from the city. If I buy a piece of land in a place where I would normally have to pay thousands of dollars to get connected to electricity and cable, this eliminates the need to be connected at all.

Now Huawei, the largest telecom networking equipment maker in the world, is touting the plan to make 5G hardware fully capable of supporting 8K TV streaming.
