Obama himself stated to one of his classmates at Occidental that he wanted to be part of an elite group to guide America through a communist revolution. None of his actions from his time in the IL senate forwards has given me any reason to not believe that conversation took place or any reason to believe he has radically shifted his worldview. Sure enough, we are on that path. To think and say such things has made me, in the eyes of others, a conspiracy theorist, conservative, hater, racist, etc. I don't care. To counter, ignorance is bliss.

Some where in my internet travels I ran across an Obama energy interview where he was speaking about regulating the coal fired power plants here in the west to meet his clean air bill. When asked about the significant cost to these power companies his response was they would pass those costs through to the consumer.

:naughty: Ah ha, but here's the rub, once that happens, the gov will take care of you. It will be the gov supplied energy therefore you will be at their mercy. Then controlling you will be a piece of cake.

According to Mr. Baldwin I'm in a good place (Virginia). For reasons besides what he outlines, some of the death-spiral states like California and Illinois would be some of the last places I'd want to live in.
