Amp Life

I have an Anthem MCA 50 that I bought used about 10 years ago. Lately the sound on my system has been cutting out and I believe it is the amp that I can hear power down and then back up again. My system is in a closet so I can't see when it happens.

Is it possible the amp is kicking the bucket?

Thanks!

Yeah. I discovered I had a bad line-out for one of my surround channels and had to move my surrounds from my amp to my receiver. I also have one bad channel on my amp. I'm probably going to have to fix the latter. The former isn't that important and can wait until the next system refresh.

Yeah my problem is that the equipment is in a closet, so when the sound cuts out by the time I get to the closet the problem disappears. I also notice that this seems to happen when I watch something via streaming. I'll have to take notes.
