One of the best episodes from one of the best sitcoms ever produced.
Thanks for posting. I tweeted it to my followers.

I miss Mr Carlson (aka: The Maytag Repairman, Ole Lonely). He paid a visit to our plant when I was still employed there. Seemed like a pretty cool guy. I love WKRP. I wished they would release the complete series on DVD, if not on Blu.

And I love that jam during the end credits.

The tried to make a complete series DVD set. We discussed it over at the S&V Forum. They couldn't get the rights to the music, so they went back and spent thousands of hours editing in royalty free music, and some shows simply couldn't be used because the music was part of the plot line and in too many of the actors' lines. The producers never considered getting permanent rights to all that music.

The boxed set ultimately came out and sucked and failed. You can probably buy it still.

I managed to get a box set from a Canadian company who very poorly transferred the syndicated broadcaster tapes onto DVDs. Not every episode is included, and they play out of order, but it is about 75% of the original series, minus a few snippets here and their when the editors missed a commercial return and such.

The box set I saw, on Amazon, was a VHS set for over $100. DVD? Maybe, VHS? No way.

Yeah... The official DVD set was an absolute failure. Don't expect to find any re-issues.
