I thought there was a thread somewhere here about the series "Live from Daryl's House", featuring Daryl Hall and musical guests, but I couldn't find it.
Anyhoo, tomorrow night on Palladia, Todd Rundgren will be the featured guest! I've been a huge TR fan for years, which is weird. He's known as a great producer (Meat Loaf, Utopia) but I'm not a fan of his productions; a great guitarist (yet he tunes up by ear between every damn song in concert, and doesn't quite nail it); a great rock vocalist (who tries too hard). Still, something about him... I'm a huge fan. (check out the Utopia concert videos if you're unfamiliar).

Maybe it is because he is Liv Tyler's step-dad????

I am a fan of him also...... and like some of his production work.
 
I don't wanna work, I wanna bang on the drums all day!

I've heard he is a real perfectionist, but his stuff usually comes out well recorded.
 
I watched about the last 3/4 of this last night and found it to be real good!!!

This is a laid back show that highlights a bunch of good musicians doing what they do best!!

I caught it last night too. Cool that, instead of holding it at Daryl's house, they went to Todd's, in Hawai'i. And of course included a whole-pig barbeque. Loved the hawai'ian-styled version of "Bang the Drum All Day"! :music-rockout: :music-rockout: :music-rockout:
