I was just going to post this. Great video! Although did they really have to auto-tune the hell out of Brian Wilson's voice? He also seemed kind of sad and confused in the video. Other than that, enjoyed it very much.
He wasn't auto-tuned. He's been doubling or tripling his voice for a long time, and it is his trademark sound from the 60s.
He has looked that way since returning to the scene 20 years ago. I saw him touring for SMiLe and he seemed to be in a different place the whole time, but his singing and playing was impeccable.
At the end... BW's voice sounds like crap regardless of if it's auto tuned or not. But kudos to him for going out on the road and sharing his gifts for the past 15 years. I still regret blowing the chance to see him when he toured with Al Jardine and David Marks a year or so ago.
I kinda liked the Beatles-sounding horn (for lack of a better term) that they threw in there. Then again, part of me hates that because this is the beach boys music. But it's fitting considering BBC Music and all.
