Be nice to Nerds

My father sent me this link for a woman (Regina Dugan) giving a speech on how far technology has advanced and what is capable in the near future. She talks about hyper speed flight at Mach 20, metals in development that are lighter than a dandelion yet stronger than an SUV. She gives a demo of a robotic hummingbird that can fly in all directions yet be used to spy for the military. A polymer that hold the strength of six plasma screen TV's without a single nail and medication from tobacco plants. Although this video is 20 minutes long, I found it incredible with the technology advancements that are currently in production. Check it out.
