Pointer Sisters, just before disco sucked them in….
 
That's a heckuva lot better than "jump for my love", which admittedly is the only pointer sisters song I can recall. I've never heard their disco stuff but I'm not so sure it can be any worse. The 80s had some good stuff, but it also had some downright terrible stuff. The kind of stuff that could ruin a band. I mean who knew that Atlantic Starr didn't always suck; if you grew up in the 80s, that is.
