No, I'd never heard the name before either.
But he has a rather interesting bio . . . .

T Model used to come through the Blues circuit through KC caught him a couple times and enjoyed. Man oh man I thought that gut was dead for a while he was pretty old back then and thats been 10 to 15 years or so. He is the last of the Hill Stomp Werewolf Bluesmen in his words. He was from the Mississippi hill country. I seen and interview with him once and he claimed to have fathered 26 children. Done time for murder with a knife on was on a Mississippi chain gang. His show consisted of great songs many him just sitting on a stool pickin his guitar tellin stories and pulling on a flask with a bottle of Jack D next to him.

RIP T Model I enjoyed the times I herd ya.

------- Interesting you've heard him perform.

Makes sense he was old back when you saw him . . . his bio said he didn't start playing guitar until he was 58 yr. old.
(pretty late start)

nice to find someone who could comment on his music. ~~ :handgestures-thumbup:
