I did a search and can't believe we didn't have a thread about the show. Anybody catching the new season? We picked HBO back up just so we could watch it. The first two seasons seemed to follow history, at least to some degree, but this season seems to be more about brutality. The character of Nucky Thompson is based on a real person, and the first two seasons I think portrayed him pretty accurately. This season has seen him more brutal, which I understand fills the seats so to speak, but veers off of the truth quite a bit. Otherwise a really good show.
