Cabinet cooling question

So the pic shows the back of the cabinet wall with the insulation?

If so punching straight back from the rack could be the right way to go. I would have to be there to see it.

Yes. But, like I said, the top of he cabinet is above the roofline of the attic behind. If I do that I'd need to mount the duct in the middle of he cabinet back (and install an outlet to power the fan).

Maybe you can punch through at the top of the rack, not the top of the cabinet.......

You are a smart guy and I am sure that you will come up with the best solution. Too bad I didn't live closer, I could come and give you a hand!

Yeah... I'll just have to compromise and mount the exhaust duct at the middle of the back cabinet wall and straight out to the patio attic. I'll suspend the fan and duct on straps to hopefully keep the noise down by eliminating transmitted vibrations.

The glass cabinet doors seal fairly tight, but the other cabinet doors should allow air flow around them. I'll cut holes to join the upper and lower right cabinets to the rack and put filter material over the holes.
